Breckenridge Wedding Planner | Ten Mile Station Wedding | Katy & Justin

"I can't say thank you enough to Ebs and the team at Distinctive Mountain Events. At first I was unsure of whether or not to hire more than a day-of coordinator given I live in Denver and was planning a wedding in Breckenridge. However, I could not be more happy I chose to purchase the Destination package with Distinctive Mountain Events. Ebs was able to narrow an overwhelming pool of vendors for me based on our conversations. All of the vendors I selected from her suggestions, from the band, to the florist, to hair and makeup, were amazing to work with and perfect for my husband's and my special day. Ebs was extremely responsive, kind and flexible. She patiently sat through many lengthy phone conferences with me, my husband and my mother throughout the planning process.

We had a surprise with the weather on our wedding day. About an hour prior to our wedding, it started raining hard and the rain eventually turned to snow as the temperature dropped. We had about thirty minutes of deliberating back and forth on whether or not to move the wedding ceremony inside given the weather. Ebs could not have been more supportive and encouraging with our decision to keep the ceremony outside. She helped give me and my husband the confidence to stick with the perfect ceremony we had envisioned from the beginning. We ended up having an absolutely perfect day and it wouldn't have been possible without her help and support. Since our wedding, we have had so many different family and friends from so many parts of our lives compliment what a wonderful wedding we had and how happy they were for us that we decided to keep our ceremony outside.

Katy & Justin. This wedding will forever stick in my mind. Not because of the amazing band (there was one, Mannequin the Band, and they freaking rocked) Not because of the crazy weather. Cue the snow in September. And not even because of the stunning florals provided by Bloom Flower Shop. No, I will not remember this wedding for all of those reasons. I will remember this wedding because of how much love there was. Specifically on the bride's side. You see, her parents divorced years ago. They have both remarried since. During the processional, Katy's father walked her halfway down the aisle where he handed her off to her stepdad to walk her down the rest of the way. It was the coolest display of awesomeness I have ever seen. And the families didn't just swallow their pride for the day. They actually enjoy each other. The dads even gave the father welcome toast together. It was just the sweetest display of love that I will hold onto forever. Thank you to Gillespie Photography for capturing all the love that day!!
