Right from the start we knew we had chosen right since just about every vendor knew Ebs and had nothing but positive things to say about her. She helped us figure out good options for our venue, helped us sift through all the details, and by the time we got to the final planning meeting the day before the wedding, we felt 100% ready and in the right hands as she took us through every step of the wedding. On the day of the wedding itself, we could see all the evidence of the hard work Ebs and her team put in but never really had to ask her for anything since it all flowed so smoothly. She and her clipboard kept us on track and moved the timeline seamlessly to facilitate longer photo sessions, late members of the wedding party, and all the complications that may have thrown a less experienced team. Kat & Ben. I'm not sure if there was ever a wedding where there were so many laughs. When you think of Kat & Ben, you can't help but smile! Even their families had permanent grins. And why would it be any other way? Two people are sharing one of the happiest, most important days of their lives with all their family and loved ones. With that said, even with the fun, there is usually a level of nervous energy in the air right before a wedding ceremony. Almost a tension you can see and feel. This wedding was different. There was just a level of calm and happiness that was so unique. It's like everyone just felt right at home. Like they were born for this moment. It was so cool to see. And with this being my first wedding back after a having a baby, it was just the thing this Keystone wedding planner needed! :)

I worked with Kat and Ben from the very beginning. They had her venue, Timber Ridge in Keystone, Colorado but needed an 'A list' of vendors. The gorgeous hair and make up that Kat was rocking was thanks to Divine Beauty Artists of Colorado. Kat is already stunning but they did such an amazing job that made her wonderful features, shine. Petal and Bean provided the flowers that were amazing and went with the mountain backdrop perfectly. A Great Time DJ kept everyone dancing, like they always do. And I almost forgot the coolest part! Sometimes the bride, after her wedding, will restore her dress to get back to pristine condition only to have it sit under her bed or deep in a closet for decades to come. Well Kat didn't want any part of that. You know what she did with that dress? She gave it to us! She asked about somewhere to donate it but instead of heading to the Goodwill to have it sit on a hanger and sold for 20 bucks, I wanted to go through the process of donating it to a worthy charity. There are so many charities that take wedding dresses and sell them for a great cause. That blog post is still to come but how cool is Kat? Some would say that she is one cool cat! Too much? Ok, sorry. But seriously. She's the best!
